Track 6 from Bear Claw's 2010 release "Refuse This Gift" out on Sickroom Records.

lyrics

It's been a rough week and it’s finally time to relieve some stress. It's time to rest and forget about everything. I need some sleep and peace of mind, some kind of escape. Tranquility and dreaming, I wish that things could stay like this. I try to keep my cool in spite of my feelings but I find it much too hard to ignore this contentious act. The thief of tranquility. I would rather listen to a plethora of ticking clocks than to deal with your lack of consideration. My patience is ticking away. Oh how I despise you, both you and that sound, intruding the air like the stench of mankind. I try to keep my cool in spite of my feelings but I find it much too hard to ignore this contentious act. Let me put this in simple terms that even you can understand, you lazy fuck. A car horn is not a doorbell. I try to keep my cool in spite of my feelings but I find it much too hard.
